What a storm we had, now ice…But the birds kept coming…..

The invasion of PINE SISKINS
What a day in the back yard. I started banding Siskins around 8am and continued till 3pm. The feeders were non stop birds. Gold Finches also stopped by to be banded. I also banded another Downy Woodpecker.
Today was a feast for all the birds in back yard

The Gull I found last Sunday eve at PPL Power Plant in Martins Creek, PA.
The gull had a broken wing and it is now under the care of Kathy Uhler in Cherry valley. Will keep all posted on its recovery.
